Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
two precious heart beats are music to any parent's ears. We are beyond excited and are going to enjoy every single minute of this pregnancy! Baby A was at 121 and Baby B was 133. On December 9, 2011 at 4 weeks 0 days pregnant
First Positive Pregnancy Test
After only 4 IUI cycles, my partner and I found out we are expecting. This was the craziest cycle yet as we were worried I would ovulate on Thanksgiving day. On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, I had an appointment with my RE. Took an OPK in the morning and it was stark white. At my appointment, she told me to start OPK testing on Saturday and we'd most likely insem on Monday the 28. We went to the gym that evening and when I got home I decided to take an OPK test. There it was, 2 pink lines. I Went out and bought 2 other brands and there were also positive. Called the Dr. that Friday. (the office was closed) but she came in we did an U/S and confirmed ovulation had occurred. Insemed 30 mins later. 1st beta 2,489 second 5,603. U/S scheduled for 27 December 2011.On December 9, 2011 at 4 weeks 0 days pregnant
Told Husband/Partner
We sat in the bathroom as we waited for the results. Me, on the toilet. DP, standing in front of me. The test was resting on the bath tub. and up popped "Pregnant" about a minute later!
