On July 17, 2014 at 19 weeks 3 days pregnant
Announced Baby's Gender to Family
Once we found out we were having another boy during the ultrasound, we got a blue balloon at the party store and wrote the news on it with a marker. First we went to pick up Seamus at Sean's parents' house; we brought him outside and told him first, then let him go inside with the balloon and his Big Brother shirt. Everyone was excited! Then we took pictures of Seamus and the balloon at home, and emailed to other family, and then put the pictures of facebook.

On April 18, 2014 at 6 weeks 4 days pregnant
Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
Got to hear the baby's heartbeat today at our follow-up ultrasound! Strong little 120 bpm! Amazing that such a tiny baby has an even tinier beating heart! We are so happy and relieved! Plus, the pocket of blood that was seen on the first ultrasound is GONE! We're ready to start spreading the news!

On April 9, 2014 at 5 weeks 2 days pregnant
First Ultrasound
We had a scare and thought we were miscarrying, but an ultrasound showed the tiny little yolk sac at 5 weeks! Baby is still too small to see!

On March 30, 2014 at 3 weeks 6 days pregnant
First Positive Pregnancy Test
I got a positive pregnancy test this morning! I'm P+11. We got to stay home this morning, as we did church last night and we covered for today. I've been feeling weird for a few days but trying to ignore it, but when I nearly jumped out of my seat when Seamus tried to nurse, I knew I should test. A strong line showed up right away, and I ran downstairs to show Sean. We were so excited and relieved!

Sean found out about 10 seconds after I got that second line on the pregnancy test! So excited!
