Slow Labour
Since Monday I've been in slow labour. Full contractions and 3cm dilate but my waters are still in tact!! Really want to meet my little man now, I'm so uncomfortable!

Packed for the Hospital/Birth Center
Packed my hospital bag today, I know it's early but because I'm going on holiday I need to be prepared. I'll be 35 weeks when I come back from my holiday and I already feel like doing nothing at the moment so I can only imagine how lethargic and exhausted I'll feel then, and in all honesty no matter how helpful the SO is, there's no chance he'll get everything I need packed. Better to be safe than sorry!!!

Baby Shower
I had such a beautiful baby shower!!!!!! My two amazing best friends planned it all along with my Mum, SO's Mum and my sisters. I felt so spoilt!!! Tyler's had so much lovely stuff from my friends and family, lucky little boy!!! I'm so grateful for such a beautiful baby shower

Prental Tests: Amniocentesis
Amniocentesis revealed that I'm rhesus negative, so I've been offered my injection for next week... oh the joys!!

Finished the Nursery
Finally finished today! We've painted it blue and accesorised with little lions. I've made curtains, recovered the chair and made a bed set from the left over material. I'm so excited!! His room's perfect!

Started Maternity Leave
I wasn't meant to be leaving work for my maternity leave for another 3 or 4 weeks, but I've been getting dizzy and my backache is so immense I just can't cope with it, especially with the heat as well!!! At work today I fainted. Both Tyler and me are okay but I'm now officially on maternity leave, and grateful for it!!!

Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
I felt baby move a few weeks ago, well I felt a "flutter" but this one was a full blown kick!!! No denying it!

Picked a Name
We had to wait till the 20 week scan to find out the sex so obviously we didn't have a definitive name but now we know :) We've gone with Tyler Oliver. We loved Tyler when I was pregnant the first time and it's stuck with us. Oliver is the male version of my middle name.

Bought Baby's First Outfit
Had a big spending spree and bought 3 new outfits for him, a pair of booties and some baby grows... ooops! On May 24, 2011 at 20 weeks 5 days pregnant
Announced Baby's Gender to Family
Had my scan today and found it I'm having a BOY :) Rang my Mum and Step-Dad and then Aron's Mum before announcing it to everyone else

Told My Boss About My Pregnancy
My boss already knew I was pregnant from my announcement on facebook, but I officially handed in my 'pregnancy announcement' to my boss and higher up today.

Announced Pregnancy to Family
We didn't know how to announce it without them getting suspicious, so rather than telling the family first and then my friends we decided to upload the scan photo onto facebook, tagging all the family it. No-one was angry that we did it that way it was a lovely surprise for them

Told Husband/Partner
The day I took my first pregnancy tests I had 3 positive and 1 negative. I took a test everyday leading up to today (sounds silly I know but I wanted to make sure) and I broke it to SO tonight. He's overjoyed :)
