Announced Baby's Gender to Family
I had to have genetic testing due to age and the testing told us baby's gender. Drew really wanted to know, so I caved! We told family as soon as we found out!

Found Out Baby's Gender
Due to my age, we had to have genetic testing done and along with that came baby's gender! We're so excited to be having another girl!

Picked a Name
We knew if baby was a girl we'd name her Loretta, after my mom, but we were debating on a middle name. We finally settled on Loretta Francine - we'll call her Frankie!

On October 29, 2018 at 5 weeks 3 days pregnant
Announced Pregnancy to Family
We had an ultrasound today just to make sure "there's something in there" and sure enough! 5w3d on the nose. Couldn't see a heartbeat yet, but they felt confident that things are looking good. We decided after the appointment to let all our family know cuz quite frankly, we just couldn't keep quiet anymore!

Told Husband/Partner
I had an extremely faint positive on Friday the 12th, but thought it was possibly an evap, so said nothing to my husband. I tested again Saturday morning and this time, the line was pretty clear, so I took 2 FRER's with me (my hubby, dad and I were heading to Iowa to scatter my mom's ashes). I couldn't wait, so at the first gas station we stopped at, I took a FRER and the line was clear as day, immediately. I crawled back in the pickup, showed my husband and we agreed NOT to tell my dad as my period wasn't even due for a week. I took another test the next day, then called the doctor Monday for blood work!!

First Positive Pregnancy Test
Only 8dpo....that can't possibly be a true 2nd line, can it!? So I took another test the next morning. It looked positive too. My husband and i left with my dad Saturday the 12th to go to Iowa and scatter my mom's ashes, so i took a couple FRER's with me. I could stand to wait, so i took one at a gas station later that morning and it was clearly positive!! Sundays didn't look like it'd changed much so i was worried. Monday morning i took another walmart cheapie and it didn't look much better, but i decided to try a First Response Rapid result and it was clearly positive!! So I took a FRGD...YES+!!!! Called the doc and got blood work done and had a positive HCG of 28.8!
