About Me

My name is Kim and I am 22 years old. I married my best friend 11/09/11 after 5 years of dating. His name is Tripp and he is 24 years old. This will be my second pregnancy. I have a 16 month old son named Ethan James. It took my hubby and I 2 years to conceive Ethan. Luckily, it only took 2 months of ttc for Baby #2. I just got my BFP on 8/11/13 (DPO 10/11). It was completely unexpected because we I kept getting negatives but finally got our positive with a FRER. I hope this pregnancy is much easier than the last. I had a lot of complications and had an emergency c-section at 36 wks due to severe preeclampsia. My bp was 180/120 and liver was swelling. My son was measuring 35 weeks and was sent to another hospital with an NICU for 9 days. I was in the hospital for 5 days (not with my son). He is healthy now. I am hoping for a girl this time around even though I know it will be much more convenient to have another boy (space, and already have stuff).

My Birth Plan

If I don't get preeclampsia then I hope to have a vbac and try for a normal delivery. I still have to talk to my doc. My first appt is 9/18/13 but I get blood drawn tomorrow to see where my hcg is at. I am extremely high risk. I plan to deliver in a hospital with a level 2 nicu this time so hopefully I won't be separated from my baby again.
