June Finley Korim's Birth Story

Had my bloody show on Monday Aug 31st. Within hours I was experiencing early labour. By that evening I was in active labour. I labored at home all night. By 3am they were consistently 10-13mins apart. So I was able to wait it out til 7am until my daughter woke and we headed straight for the hospital. By then the contractions were about 8mins apart. I was checked and was at 4cm so was admitted right away. Got my epidural within a couple of hours and started pushing around 6pm. My beautiful baby girl was born around 640pm and I couldn't be happier with how it all went. Almost exactly the same as my first child's birth! Both my daughter's were born on the 1st and my sister had a baby girl this past June 1st! Something about the first of the month for us I guess :). I'm now at home and we're all doing well. My older daughter has been absolutely wonderful and loves her sister so much!! I'm over the moon :). Thanks to all the wonderful ladies on this site for the support through this journey xo
