So... He didn't want to come in time on Wednesday I came to be induced. Lucky for me they just broke my waters at 8:30pm started the drip and labour started. I got an epidural at 11:30 and by 12 my little man wasn't coping. After multiple attempts to monitor him through a cable on his head, they took a blood sample from scratching his head. The Drs made the call at 2:45 that I needed to have an emergency csection. We weren't in a huge hurry until my bp went through the roof and his heart rate dropped. It was one of the scariest things ever... I could barely keep my eyes open, I felt so drugged and out of it. Fletcher James was born at 3:24am. He was safe and healthy. turns out he was trying to come out face first, with the cord wrapped firmly around his neck.
