So yesterday morning I woke up with intense pain in mostly my right side groin area and in lower tummy. I stood up and felt sharp stabbing pain so bad that it sat me down. I took it easy for the day took great care to not aggravate the area further which was pretty hard because every movement hurt my lower abdominal area, but all in all it went well but then again right before bed around 12 midnight Bam! Hit me again and was brought back down to my recliner. I had to pee so I had to move very slowly and put nearly no weight or pressure on my right leg and getting back up from the toilet put too much strain on my my muscles down there it really hurt, I couldn't lay on my right side at bedtime for most of the night, around 4am I noticed that I can actually switch sides but had to be very careful turning.Getting up to pee was kind of painful still. So this morning I ate some toast and took 1/2 a Tylenol laid back down I didn't even bother standing only to pee just like the night before, fell asleep after an hr, did me good because I was actually able to get around with just a little pain. It's now 7:00pm still a little pain persists if I try to pass a little gas or even attempt to go #2 it puts strain in my sides and groin and scares me because I don't want to have the crazy pain I had yesterday. No back pain thankfully or bleeding. I have an OBvisit in 3 days can't wait till they check things out. Reassurince would be great. I Don't think it's UTI

Comment from Joshua2018* » Posted Jan. 22, 2018 2:08pm Everything is going fine, OB says it's just muscle cramping from not drinking enough water that week. So far no more crazy pains or spasms. Feeling great, thank you for all your help guys, baby is growing fast. ????
Comment from sophians » Posted Jan. 22, 2018 10:09am @adiggs is right. This happened to me to as this is a form of malnutrition or as you can say dehydration. Happens to many of us. Try some faster hydrating liquids. I should tell you that keeping yourself hydrated through pregnancy is the biggest cahllenge. It's because you have to pee again and again. This becomes difficult but you have to take care of yourself and your baby too. Also don't stress yourself alot.Because this won't help anything.

Comment from Joshua2018* » Posted Jan. 14, 2018 11:58pm Thank you adiggs for the advice. I'm going to be drinking more water again as now my throat is better. God bless
Comment from Joshua2018* » Posted Jan. 14, 2018 11:54pm I usually do drink plenty of water, but this week not as much as usual because I had a sore throat and cough drops made the water feel cold , warm showers help but not hot , hot showers are not safe during pregnancy. I'm 24 weeks pregnant The pains are no where near as bad as yesterday, I can tell my body is trying to recover as now I can move more freely with out much pains, just gotta be careful how I move. Learning to be gentle with my self during pregnancy. This will be my first born
Comment from adiggs » Posted Jan. 14, 2018 9:31pm I'm not sure if it's round ligament, but I had it on the same side with both pregnancies. But I just wanted to ask you if you are drinking enough water? That helped me. |
