We finally had our first doctor apt. I am seeing Dr. Melanie Konradi at Oregon Medical Group's Women's care. I absolutely love her. She is amazing, funny, loves to laugh, and truly caring. I am sure she will take care of us, little one. 2 days ago, when we went, we got to hear your heartbeat for the first time, and she did an ultrasound. WOW, how amazing to see your healthy heart beating, and as she moved around the tool, you reached out to us so the picture captured your tiny little fingers. I am feeling so thrilled and so blessed.
Last night I had my first pregnancy nightmare. I know it's just an attack to try to instill fear in me, so I won't pay any attention. I believe that your are strong and healthy, and will be for the entirety of this pregnancy. No image is going to bring me down. I was able to come home from work and nap and eat, and I am feeling much better, and less emotional about it. In the past week and a half, I have felt your first movements :) Mostly right after worship service on Sunday. I know that you will be a worshipper!! You are experiencing, even now, the power of God and His might hand of protection over your life. I pray that He speaks to you as He forms you, and tells you all the wonderful things you need to hear.
Speaking of worship, we have to get going to worship practice now. I hope you enjoy it!! Dance, my little baby, like everyone in the world is watching, but you don't care at all :)
