Looking back at past ultrasound dates
By Amarylis13 » Posted Feb. 5, 2014 2:27pm - 180 views - 2 comments

So I have been comparing dates between this pregnancy and the one where I had my daughter. With my daughter by my dates I got my bfp at 14 dpo. With ultrasound dates I got it at 7/8 dpo. My blood test was 102 at 11 dpo.
This time around by my calculations I was 15 dpo when I tested but by ultrasound dates I was 11 dpo. Blood test at 315 on 12 dpo.
Now these tests were positive on digitals, internet cheapies, and tests not intended for early testing.
But if you shouldn't technically get a bfp before 4 weeks pregnant how did I get such dark tests in my third week? I can't even bring this up with doctors because they tell me I have my dates wrong. But I have pictures of my tests with the time saved on the file of when the picture was taken.
This now totally confuses me because theoretically I am testing positive with urine when an embryo should just be implanting....so does that mean I implant real early? Like 2 dpo? Or do I actually have ultrasound error every time and am actually further along.

maybe. With my daughter I started off thinking I was 8 weeks and then found out I was 7 at the ultrasound according to the measurements. But then according to those dates I was only 7 dpo when I tested positive. Like it's not a huge difference date wise but I am never as far along as I would think when I get dated.

could you just have babies that start off smaller than average for the first couple of months? Or am i misinterpreting the question?
