How Far Along: 13 Weeks
How Big is the Baby: The size of a peach
New/Changed Symptoms: Tummy started sticking out a bit this week. Breasts are less tender. A bit more energy. Very hungry all the time.
Emotions: Been a bit depressed/anxious but due to other issues, not my pregnancy. Been really craving time with my girlfriends.
Something Funny That Happend: I picked up my 5 year old step son from his mom's and he asked me "is that baby at home?!"
Best moment of the Week: I think it will be later today, my midwife appointment, I hope my husband will come and hear heartbeat.
Movement: None
Maternity Clothes: Still wearing my old clothes, starting wearing the bellyband this week with unbuttoned jeans, not very comfortable as the jeans slide down too low. Can't really afford a bunch of new clothes right now so will hold off a couple more weeks.
Food cravings: Cereal & Milk, fruit, spicy food.
Food aversions: Veggies (strange for me)
What I Miss: A nice glass of wine.
What I'm Looking Forward To: Starting to really show and not just look fatter.
Milestone: Told I was "glowing" for the first couple times!!
Question(s): My friend had a baby a few weeks ago and her milk never came in. Is there anything I can do in my pregnancy to ensure my milk comes in?

 | Comment from Neekie » Posted May. 22, 2011 10:32pm Hey :) I also had the milk problem with my son, i had no idea what to do about it at the time, but your Doctor or midwife will be able to help you out. My doc is going to keep an eye on my for the weeks after and if my supply doesnt come in he will put my on medication to help with the flow. Hope that helps. |
