How Big is the Baby: Size of a cauliflower (I think they mean weight wise?), a little over 2 pounds on average.
New/Changed Symptoms: Breathlessness. Especially when laying down semi reclined or on my right side even. I found the very beginning of a stretch mark on one hip, I think. It's a pink mark. So sad about that!!! It's too early!
Emotions: This week's been a bit of a rollercoaster. Crying, laughing, mood swings, depression, excitement. A mix of everything!
Something Funny That Happened: I was talking to my stepson Malachi and he's like "it's gonna be weird to have someone in the house call you 'mom' " (they call me Shan, or "my Shannon"). I said he or she BETTER call me mom, not Shan!
Best moment of the Week: Getting my hair done last night - hey, it's the small things :)
Movement: "Squirmy" would be the best description. I wish I knew what it was doing. I don't feel little jabs anymore like I used to, it's more all over movement/squirminess/rolling I suppose. It's soooo cool!
Maternity Clothes: Nothing new this week. I seem to have lots to wear, though.
Weight: 22 pounds total as of this morning (I wish I did my journal yesterday, cause I gained 2 pounds between yesterday and today somehow....) Eek.
Food cravings: Fruit, cereal, hamburgers, peanutbutter and bannana sandwiches...oooh and yesterday I had a nectarine with salty feta....mmmmm
Food aversions: I rarely eat meat - I'm wondering if I will be anemic......
What I Miss: Blowing my nose and not seeing blood. Painting my toenails easilly. Bourbon sours. Sleeping on my back and tummy. Not dragging around 20 extra pounds :)
What I'm Looking Forward To: My midwife appointment this evening - my husband's coming! Also, my husbands' going away this weekend so I'm having a sleepover with one of my oldest girlfriends - can't wait!
Milestone: I don't feel like I made any milestones this week. To be honest I'm pretty down about weight & my possible stretchmark.
Question(s): Are people sharing their names with anyone (outside this site)? I dont' like telling people when they ask but I think it's rude to say that I don't want to tell them. So I throw out like five names for each gender.
