How Big is the Baby: 2 to 3 pounds, the size of a chinese cabbage (Hmm?)
New/Changed Symptoms: Just general discomfort getting worse, but not terrible. Areolas continue to darken. Moving around is getting more taxing.
Emotions: I've been very anxious this week and a bit weepy. Feeling very needy, which irritates my husband!
Something Funny That Happened: My growing obsession with anything to do with food is endless amusement for my husband. I guess it's kind of funny, but not funny when you're actually starving!!
Best moment of the Week: Brent finally had the patience to feel my tummy and he felt some BIG movements, it was great.
Movement: Pretty squirmy, some big movements that take my breath away! My midwife told me it was head down, so I think I'm getting a feel for which body parts are which.
Maternity Clothes: Went to Value Village 50% off sale and got a cute black stretchy cotton dress (I now have about 6!, I love them!) and some green khaki pants I can make into capris by buttoning up - and some shoes....another dress that's not maternity but works and some infant onesies (some with original tags, for 50 cents a peice I couldn't resist!), all for about $30. I have almost too much to wear right now, but that will change as it turns Autumn and I get even bigger, so I will just enjoy the variety right now.
Weight: 22.5 pounds, so still pretty steady. I feel more in control this week. I'm getting very close to my goal of 25 pounds so I acnowledge it will likley end up being 30, or maybe a bit more. Oh well.
Food cravings: Fruit and cereal, had a craving for fish n' chips I haven't fulfilled yet...but I can't get enough fruit especially nectarines! Also craving mashed potatoes & gravy - might make Friday for supper.
Food aversions: No aversions, just a lot of time can't pinpoint what I want to eat. Hungry but nothing really appeals except "snacky" stuff.
What I Miss: I miss the same stuff as last week - it's not making me sad or anything though.
What I'm Looking Forward To: The extra long weekend!! Monday is a holiday here and I"m taking Tuesday off for the boys' first day of school.
Milestone: No milestone this week....
Question(s): I'm going to prenatal classes which my husband thinks is a waste of time as in the moment I'll forget everything I learned. What do you guys think? Did you remember what they tell you, in the heat of the moment?
