How far along: 35 weeks, 4 days

How Big is the Baby: 5.25 pounds, still about 18 inches (I think the length pretty much slows down from here on out)

New/Changed Symptoms: Really frequent urination at night. Feelings of nausea when hungry and after eating (can't win!), general (belly)aches and pains!

Emotions: Running the gamet from excitement/joy to anxiety/stress. No major meltdowns this week (yet). I'm definitely getting more and more excited for baby to be here though.

Something Funny That Happened: Taking photos at my baby shower with my girlfriend who at the time was 10 days overdue! We got some cute belly to belly pics - and then she had hers the very next day!

Best moment of the Week: My baby shower was really sweet.

Movement: Baby is still fairly active. It feels large in there!

Maternity Clothes: Still holding out not buying new stuff. As I said I need some maternity leggings and/or tights and then I think I'll be good to go!

Weight: Ugh. I have officially gained 33 pounds as of today. I know it's not terrible...but if I gain a pound a week until the end I'll be closer to 40 (my original goal was 25-30). Oh, well.

Food cravings: Sweets and pastries (muffins, donuts, etc.) Milk. Not a huge appetite at this point.

Food aversions: No aversions, just not much appetite - nothing really appeals to me right now. Kind of just eat cause I'm hungry not to enjoy.

What I Miss: My old body and nipples!!!

What I'm Looking Forward To: Midwife appointment tomorrow, hoping to maybe get a guage of how baby's doing weight-wise, and make sure it's still head down. Anniversary dinner this weekend (joint for us, my sister and hubby and my parents- our anniversaries fall July, August and October so we just do a joint dinner).

Milestone: More work done on nursery - and it looks like I'll be managing to keep up my end of the bargain and work until the 28th which is the date I originally gave. I like let my "yes mean yes".

Question(s): Do I really look that huge? I'm constantly getting comments about how large my baby will be - I dont think I'm larger than the average bear, but I'm just curious - be frank!

You're definitely better looking than the average bear though.

I'll be as Frank as Tony & Justin's uncle. You look huge.

You don't look huge AT ALL. I think people say that just because they are in such awe of how a woman's body changes during pregnancy, even if they've been through it themselves. Your belly is very round and soo cute! I think people forget what a 8/9 mos. pregnant belly looks like!

I don't think you look huge! My younger sister was HUGE with both of her boys, like seriously nothing but belly. Her first was only 7lbs 6oz and the second was 7lbs 12oz. I think you look pretty average size from your pics and you have an adorable baby bump!
