I got lots of info at my OB orientation. The reason, I dont get to see a doctor until november is because they do a US on the first doctors appointment and they want the baby big enough to measure and make sure everything is growing as planned. I also learned that I can go see another doctor off base, but I would have to change my insurance to tricare standard (pay out of pocket) instead of prime(pay nothing)... so I am trying to decided what to do. I want a more relaxed birth this time around, but is it worth having to pay out of pocket... I dont know! So I guess I will think about it for awhile and do some research and find a doctor i like weither its not base or not... hmmm
The base does offer some amazing classes, and after care so I am excited for that part and all for free!
