A list of things that make me nauseous:
- food
- water
- breathing
- blinking
- moving
- being alive....
I am having a really hard time eating/drinking and when I do manage to, I have to lay perfectly still for at least half an hour or it will just come right back up. I have had to take time off work because it is so bad that I end up spending the majority of my shift in the bathroom. *Sigh*. I am not worried about lack of nutrition because I am keeping some food/water down by keeping perfectly still after eating/drinking and I've been drinking gatorade when I can to replace lost electrolytes. I always manage to keep down my prenatal at breakfast with this method. It's just very frustrating vomiting all day, dry heaving all night and feeling queasy 24/7... *Sigh*. And from what I've heard, it will only get progressively worse over the next few weeks and then (hopefully) get better from that point on. I just keep reminding myself that it will all be worth it in the end and that I'm not going through this for nothing. I can safely say this is the first time I've been GREATFUL to be feeling sick. :)
