THE INLAWS!

We went for dinner at the in-laws yesterday .
It was fun but then we got on to the subject of babies and what things we need. My Partners sister mentions that she has a pram we could have (which is lovely of her) but we wanted to see it first because we already have our eye on the silver cross 3d (which i REALLY want) We are able to afford it too.
Anyway we decide to open the loft and take a look, when his grandmother begins to "tut" and say how cheeky it is wanting to have a look. She seems to think because its free we shouldnt turn our noses up to it.
WELL thing is, the pram isnt even being given to us! APPARENTLY when we are finished with it we can give it back. I just really felt falsed into accepting it. Its a lovely pram and its the same as i had with my first DS but it has minimal space underneath in the basket and getting access to the basket is near on impossible with a cross bar restricting access.. My brother has mentioned that he has the silver cross 3d we can have for free, but obviously wed want to give money for it. its just frustrating. I dont want his family to take over. Like buy things for us we dont want. I can imagine this grandparents buying a cot for us or something THEY have chosen. ( I have a grandparent like this, its annoying)
I have it all in my head the things i want as id like to have all matching furniture.
Im not asking for anyone to give or buy us anything as we already know what items we want.
I do feel like im being ungrateful but i just think this is OUR baby and im not being falsed into something i dont want or want to do. and im sticking to it!!!
