Well, yesterday I went to the doctor to discuss getting back on my anti-depressants and mood stabilizers and whether taking my Pro-air inhaler was safe to take during pregnancy since I now use it at least twice a day. And it was also expired so I needed to get a prescription for a new one.
Well, since my OB wasn't in this week, I saw the NP that I'm so comfortable with. If she were an actual doctor, she is the one I would have gone with. Any who, she said the inhaler was safe to take and faxed the prescription to the pharmacy. But unfortunately she did not feel comfortable with letting me take the other meds because of the effects on pregnancy and the fact that she wasn't qualified to allow that since she's not an OB. So I have to wait until the 3rd for my OB to come back and then I will see him. Hopefully we can find some that will allow me to feel better and are safe for the baby.
I've been feeling a lot better today and yesterday, though. I saw my Dad and step mom again today and it's always great to see them. I am 12 weeks pregnant tomorrow, so that's another good thing. And my present that Sean bought me for Christmas should be in tomorrow. I'm excited because he's never bought me a Christmas present out of our three years and it's a tablet which I really wanted. Also, Nathan went to his dad's today for two nights which is nice because he has been having a serious listening problem. He is purposely being difficult and starting to pick up my cousin's and Sean's niece's bratty attitudes so my patients is being stretched REALLY thin. So I get two days to myself.
The only bad thing that happened today, minus Nathan's attitude, is that Sean almost had to go to the er because we thought he had Appendicitis. He was hurting really bad for a few days and it had just escalated. He seems to be doing better now, but if he's in pain in the morning he's calling in sick to work and going to the er.
