Eventful Week!

This week you turned 11 weeks and I had my third ultra sound. You are growing right on target. Heartbeat is still nice and strong and this week we got to see it all through my tummy instead of trans vaginal which was very exciting! You hard your little arm in the air, kind of looked like the fist of social justice tattoo Daddy has! It was so great to seeing you growing big and strong! This was also the week I told a lot more people. We'll actually start with last weekend. I told Stacy and Sharoni at Stacy's baby shower. They were so excited. I felt bad because I yawned out loud without even realizing I was doing it while Stacy opened presents. Everyone laughed and I was so embarrassed. When I told Stacy we were expecting at least them I could explain that's why Im extra tired! I wasn't bored! Sharoni said she could just tell and apparently her sister could too! I hope that doesn't mean Im just looking extra chubby these days! Im hoping for pregnancy glow instead! This was also the week I broke the news to Jeff and Kama (the partners). I was really happy with their reaction. They were both very supportive and seemed genuinely happy for me. I guess we'll see how that all plays out later but it feels like everything will be just fine. It has to be, they don't really have much of a say in the matter! Tuesday is our first trimester screening. Im nervous about that but feeling more and more confident that we're doing just great with each passing day. It's starting to feel like you're more a part of me. It's so nice to have you with me all day, i can just reach down and rub my belly if I'm feeling overwhelmed at work and know that you are truly the most important thing. Nothing else matters as long as I have you. Daddy also told Tommy this week which I know he's been looking forward to doing and we shared the news with Dom and Margarita last weekend too. So now most if our close friends know. Looking forward to telling more when we have the all clear! xoxo
