New Symptoms & Other Suspicions
By Hudson » Posted Jul. 26, 2013 11:08am - 427 views - 2 comments

Well, well, well.... The ever evasive symptoms have finally decided to join the party. First off the glands of Montgomery (tubercles) have appeared as well as some nausea that ive been unable to gratify with food. Graham crackers worked for a while, but now they only last about ten minutes. And finally the swollen boobs (no pain) and occasional cramps and fatigue. And cant forget bloating. Not too shabby for a newbie.

Other Suspicions:

I'm pretty much certain that I am in fact closer to, if not, exactly 10 weeks on the money rather than 9 weeks. Heres why:

1. My last cycle I got a SHG procedure performed and the doctor told me I would ovulate between cycle days 8 and 10. At first I didn't believe him, because I always considered my ovulation date to be around 12 and 14. Yet, when I heeded his knowledge, we got pregnant.

2. I have a 25 day cycle, so #1 makes sense all of a sudden.

3. Day 25 of my cycle I came home from work with the worst menstrual cramps and a wave of fatigue hit me like a whirlwind. Yet I never bled or anything. 2 weeks later I took a test. My dr. did an internal exam on day 27 & told me I had no period in sight.

4. At my first emergency ultrasound, the dr. told me I could be 6 or 7 weeks. Hes wasn't sure yet. My next ultrasound is August 12. I suspect it will be closer to 13 weeks at that time.

So, thats my suspicion. I feel like they base our last menstrual period on a 30 day cycle, but for someone with a 25 day cycle there are a few days off. No big deal, but thats what dating scans are for I suppose. Just a thought.

Hahahaahahaha!! You are hilarious! I can only imagine the look you giv her while shes examining you! No more bleeding. But thats how SCH is! It strikes at any moment! The first bleed was a half hour, no cramps. A few days later saw the heartbeat. Two weeks later, random gush then brown spotting for one day. No pain. All clear. Dr. told me I had this at my appt so no need to run to.him every time it happens. I texted him and hes aware and cool. As long as theres no pain, I'm good. Some women with this condition truly suffer and will do it up till 20 weeks or longer, though it usually resolves itself. By that time. I'm just happy and grateful I'm pregnant another day. one day at a time for the next 30 weeks. :-) we really have no choice in the matter. Do it miserably or do it gracefully.

They base it off a 28 day cycle but if you go to a midwife they will ask you how many days your cycle is mine is 29 she asked me last time and I calculated correct march 12th due date but the ultrasound tech said march 14 but she was ridiculous went fast didn't tell me shit all and I'm sure on my ultrasound I see what seems to be my yolk sac on the side she never even identified it and as you already know she was brutal!!! Lol I'm glad you are having extra symptoms! Hope everything is progressing as it should no more bleeding right???
