Husband on Baby's Heartbeat

This morning while we were lying in bed, my dear husband put his ear to my lower abdomen and listened for a long time. Then he sat up and described a rattled/rapping-like thumping sound. I shook my head and laughed. I told him you cant hear it that early and you probably need a special machine. He said, well if I can hear your stomach growling I can hear a heartbeat. I then told him that I have read that the sound could be described as thunder or like horses galloping. He said, Exactly! Regardless of whether or not hes right or if hes indeed heard anything, I think its amazing, beautiful, and exponentially sweet! And in the back of my mind I'm going to just go ahead and believe it. I will take what I can get at this point. ;-) <3<3<3
