Sober Fun?

Today's been a bit of a stressful day for me. These early pregnancy symptoms are beginning to seriously interrupt my day (and night) and these withdrawal symptoms from quitting cigarettes are also driving me nuts. My boobs are killing me, I have weird crampy pains randomly in my lower abdomen, peeing every five minutes (or so it feels like), starting to become super nauseous, soooooooooo exhausted (AND I CAN'T EVEN GET MY CAFFEINE FIX TO PERK ME UP ANYMORE!), and really moody. Making a baby is kinda annoying lol.

So on top of that stuff, I'm experiencing pretty bad withdrawal symptoms from battling my nicotine & caffeine addictions. I got these terrible migraines, which might also have to do with the fact that I'm wearing my 4 year old glasses cause I broke my new pair :/ and I feel really achy. I'm also even more tired than your typical preggo gal since I have to limit my caffeine. I was terribly addicted to caffeine & energy drinks pre-pregnancy, so you can only imagine how exhausted I am right now.

In addition to that stuff, (boy I'm in a bitching mood today!) I was invited to a party tonight. It's supposed to be a huge, crazy party with a DJ and lots & lots of liquor. I wanna go sooo bad, but I know it will be too tempting between the drinking, smoking, and other reckless activities present. Hell, I probably won't even have the energy to ATTEMPT to go anyway lol. Plus, since it's so early in my pregnancy, I haven't told anyone except Jose yet, and I don't feel like having people question my new life choices. It's really time for me and Jose to discover new, sober ways to have fun. Need to invest in a few board games & puzzles I guess.

UGH I WANNA CIGARETTE!

Oh! The funniest thing happened the other day. I was telling Jose that the baby is about the size of an apple seed, and later that day (due to his Spanish accent) it sounded like he said "Lil Caesar" instead of "Lil Seed" when he was referring to the baby. "Lil Caesar" instantly became our silly nickname for this new tenant occupying my uterus. :D

Okie dokie, well that's pretty much it for now I suppose. Here's another non-alcoholic cheers to the new (pregnant) chapter in my crazy, inappropriate life!
