Whoa, There's Really a Baby in There!

First prenatal exam and u/s was yesterday. We got to see the teeny tiny fetus and hear the most incredible sound I will ever hear, my baby's heartbeat! Wow. I'm gonna be a MOMMY! I cried happy/excited tears-of-joy as I heard those boomp-boomps. At first, I kinda questioned it and thought it was the sound of my heart...nope, that's my little guy's (or gal's) heart pumping away! Oh my God, so amazing.
I can't stop looking at the u/s picture...it just reminds me of how wonderful this world can be. I'm only 8w 5d today and I just can't wait to actually hold him or her!!! A long while yet, though.
I'm actually too exhausted to write anymore, but WOW I am so in love with my raspberry!
