1st Bleeding
By Aiedahelmi » Posted Jul. 6, 2017 3:23am - 155 views - 0 comments

On Friday, in the office lavatory, I noticed some blood stain on my pantyliner, but I'm not really sure since the pantyliner is dark coloured. So I just ignored it for a while and went home for dinner and prepare to travel 400km to visit my parents during the weekend. We prefer to travel after midnight for comfortable ride with a toddler. at 6 am, we make a stop to have some refreshment and then, I noticed another blood stain on my pantyliner. As I wiped, gasp! I'm bleeding. I told my husband and we straight away drove off to my parents home which is about another 300km and visited the local hospital. yes, we could've turn back or just went to the nearest hospital. But I want to be closer to my family if I happens have be admitted. Upon arrival at the hospital, I went to the emergency department and waited to be checked. Nothing worst had happened during the period. The doctor has made some ultrasound scan on me and diagnosed that, there was nothing wrong with me or my baby since the baby heartbeat and my blood pressure is fine. So I went home to another 3 days of bleeding. On the 4th day, I went to another hospital at my house. The doctor diagnosed that I had a condition called "low lying placenta" ( not yet pronounced as placenta previa since I'm not in 28 weeks) and another scan are scheduled within 4 weeks. I was so devastated. I really hope that everything will goes well and I really want to have a normal delivery instead of cesarean section as I don't want painful recovery. I was allowed to leave the hospital, and advised to immediately go to the hospital if the bleeding become worse or any pain occurs.
