I was feeling lots of little flutters last week, but those flutters seemed non-existent this week, especially this past Thursday and Friday. I was so thankful to have a prenatal appointment scheduled for yesterday. I shared my concerns with my doc and he said with being only 17 weeks that the movement I feel will still be pretty erratic. That helped put my mind at ease. He took a few seconds to find little's heart beat. Am I the only one who feels like it takes hours for them to find it??? What a relief! 145 bpm. I also asked about my belly size and weight gain. Chasing/carrying/playing with my toddler this round really has helped keep my weight gain in check. I gained so much so quickly with my daughter that I'm constantly comparing the two pregnancies thinking I should be bigger than I am..guess I was just enjoying my cravings a bit too much last time. He said they will start measuring my belly at 22 weeks to check fundal height, but he said all looks good so far from what he can see. 12 days until we get to see what little is!!
