All the test results I had taken came back normal. Which is a relief in a way, the doctor thinks my severe vomiting was due to GERD. I have had a problem with that in the past but have never had a flare up since my gallbladder was removed several years ago. I guess the increase in progesterone triggered it. That coupled with the increase in smells and the usual "morning sickness" sent my vomiting into overdrive. I have since been put on a medication to help the GERD and haven't really had a problem with vomiting yet. I can't say for certain, yet, if this is the cure. I would have to wait until at least the weekend is over, since most of my vomiting was around that time in each case of severe vomiting bouts. I have hope though. I have also went on a low fat diet, the doctor suggested the BRAT diet but I can't do that alone. If I have a real bad day I do revert to that diet but for the most part it's just fat free. I'm still a little nervous about some foods like certain bread type products and dairy.
