Holy Moly, I need a weekend! I could barely move once I got home last night. Scrapped making dinner - sent DH for chicken McNuggets. I know, I know...NOT a healthy choice for the Peep. But it was what sounded good. And I only had four. The foodie inside me is shaking her head in shame.

I need to meal plan over the weekend...put together some simple stuff that can either be prepped or frozen and reheated. I pulled out a Moroccan chicken recipe, and I think it's time to pull out the crock pot too (let's torture the dog while we're at work).

We have decided to do a photo greeting card to our circle the week before Christmas as our announcement (after telling family, of course), so we're shopping for some tiny Peep shoes this weekend to use in the photo. We'll head to our friend's property to take the photos in a Holiday setting. :) DH is starting to get excited too (I think it's starting to sink in for him a bit). He sat down with me last night and asked about my ideas for the announcement and has been referring to Peep more often. That man just breaks my heart sometimes. <3

Definitely finding out the gender! I feel the way you do...it will drive me crazy. DH can't decide one way or the other. It's a surprise at 20 weeks or 40 weeks so why not get to naming that Peep?! We want a distinctive, strong name for a boy or a girl.

Get to bed, lady! It's late where you are! ;)

We do want to know the gender. I feel like it'll let me stress less and it's exciting to be able to call him or her by name once we know. And the shopping, oh the shopping that can be done once a color is chosen! :)

What about y'all?

Yum! I'm coming over next time for BBQ chicken...a fave! I know, the whole announcement thing is so strange to think about, but I'm a planner. ;)
Are you guys planning to find out the gender?

And, if you like brussel sprouts, roasting is the best way to go. Olive oil, salt, pepper - 400 degrees for 35 minutes. YUM!

I'm impressed! Sounds yummy! We cooked tonight too. Haha! BBQ chicken and grilled corn on the cob on the grill with salad and Hawaiian sweet rolls! Mmm! We are waiting to tell everyone at Christmas. I'll be 10 weeks the day after, so I think that will be an okay time to let the cat out of the bag! It's hard to believe we are even talking about announcements already! Woah!

We're going to wait until the after the US to tell family and then I'll be 11 weeks by Christmas when friends get their holiday photo greetings. It's so WIERD to really be talking/thinking like this. But, AMAZING! Can't stop smiling.

p.s. I cooked tonight - roasted chicken breast & roasted brussel sprouts. Oven-foil lined baking sheet-40 minute nap-done.

How sweet! Don't worry, I had Chinese last night. Lol! We are planning to do some photos for announcements with a pair of baby shoes and some other ideas I found on Pinterest. I can't wait. We will probably wait until after our first ultrasound on the 13th. :)
