Emergency Room Visit

Well, we made an appearance at the ER today. Doc's office wanted to do a gallbladder ultrasound, but they can't get me in until next Friday. The pain returned today and see DH and I were off to the ER. I think it's fair to state I haven't been to the ER since I was 7. I was terrified.
After waiting long hours, blood draws (in which I bled all over and made a mess), peeing in a cup and a bag of saline, it's concluded that I have....SEVERE ACID REFLUX. Um, awesome?
Anyway...doc prescribed some meds for the GERD probs which I may have to take thru the pregnancy.
HOWEVER...and this is a big however...they found a renal mass on my right kidney. They say it looks to be benign, but I'm being referred to a specialist to have it addressed for fear of rupture. ER doc said she's been there six years and hasn't seen anything like it. I may have had it all my life, she added.
Any way, I'm to try to get in to my OB to check on the Peep tomorrow. And then schedule appt with the specialist to check out this "thing" I have going on.
Kinda scary to hear about, but I have this odd sensation that it's really nothing.
