Twelve weeks today.
We are patiently waiting for my sister to go into labor. She's been having contractions on and off for about a week now - just nothing linking together. My birthday is Thursday, so maybe my niece will make her debut for my birthday. I would adore sharing a birthday with her.
Now that I'm 12 weeks, I'm VERY ready for the nausea to GO AWAY. I was able to stop at the grocery store last night AND make dinner with out gagging. It was a miracle! First dinner I've made since Thanksgiving! But, still gagged this morning. Darn!
Still no baby bump, though my waist is quite thick. I've been overweight in my adult life...ups and downs with the scale...but I've always had some nice curves. Right now I feel that I look like a 67 year old short, fat, grandmother. Super attractive. Thank goodness my husband will still have sex with me...because pregnant sex is AWESOME!!

I haven't been on the skinny side in quite a few years, so I know how you feel. We've chilled on the sex part a little, just since I got that spot a week ago and it kinda freaked me out and I didn't want to induce any spotting I could prevent. But, nonetheless, the preggo sex is pretty freaking good. :) My birthday is in 12 days! :D I always said I wanted to be pregnant by the time I was 25, and so I am! I am scoping out crib mattresses now. So many options! AH! |

I know the first few months its like when does the cute bump part start?!! And then it goes POP before you know it :) Happy Early bday btw! |
