Wow! It's been a HUGE few days!
My sister went into labor on Friday night...we made the 3 hour trek over the pass to be there. Millie Maye was born at 5:52am on Saturday, January 11th. She was 7 pounds, 12 ounces of perfect. 21 inches long and she's gorgeous! I didn't know I would fall in love so hard as an auntie, but I can't get enough of this girl.
We spent the weekend and enjoyed the break from home and reality. Time seems to go too fast, but it slowed just the same. Odd.
Our ultrasound at Maternal Fetal Medicine was this morning...also the consult with the genetics counselor. Our ultrasound results and measurements turned out so great, we opted not to have any further DNA/genetics testing. Both DH and I are confident in our decision and really feel there isn't anything to be concerned about. And honestly, the genetics counselor felt similarly. :)
I'm feeling loved, in love and grateful today. Our baby has all four limbs too! Hooray!
