24 weeks and feeling better

I kicked the cold! I'm still a smidge stuffy in the morning, but feeling much better this week!
Total weight gain: If I count the 7 I lost in the first tri (which I've now gained back), then I've gained 13. If I don't count those, I've gained 6. Not sure which to count and which to leave out.
Maternity clothes? Duh! And my jacket doesn't fit anymore. :(
Stretch marks? Yes. AKK! I have about 4. Oh well. This little man is so worth a few stretch marks.
Sleep: getting worse! I would like to suffocate my husband for snoring.
Best moment this week: Doc appt today and my blood pressure was low - 110/60. Wow! I'm usually 120/72
Movement: This kid is a ninja. I can tell when he is awake and when he's asleep.
Food cravings: BEEF!
Gender: Boy
Labor signs: Nope
Symptoms: reflux, low back pain, mood swings, stinging nipples, leaking colostrum, sore feet, tired easily, fetal movement. Hubs felt the little man on Saturday night. That was pretty exciting!
Belly button in or out? IN
Wedding rings on or off? ON
Happy or moody most of the time: I'm great about every other day. Some days I find myself really down. I don't know if I'm bored (can't ski, can't have drinks with friends, etc.), or if I'm impatient (super excited to meet this little guy). I've got a pretty good handle on all of my prenatal checklist. And I've been informed I can't buy anything else until after my shower.

Hope it stays away for good and you can just continue to enjoy pregnancy. I am getting stretch marks too, a couple under my belly bc that is where my stomach was always flat. I hope it doesn't get worse but like you said its worth it!! :) I haven't had any colostrum yet, makes me wonder when or if my boobs will ever grow and if my milk will come in. Guess im doomed to be flat chested for the rest of my life lol. That is awesome blood pressure!!!! Better low than high! Yay!! |
 | Comment from mrsamanda » Posted Apr. 1, 2014 7:55pm I only count the pounds I'm gaining once I got back to my original weight. Last appt I was right back to my start weight so now I should bd GAINING. ugh! It's so hard to not buy stuff!! |
