Today has been rough...

...physically, I mean.

I was up in the night with BH contractions and then have dealt with them pretty much all day today. The pain starts high on the front of my belly and radiates down the sides. Any time my little man moves, it takes my breath away. I've been incredibly uncomfortable and have also been having some sciatica probs. Not the most awesome day.

On top of all this, I just was in using the potty. Something felt funny when I wiped so I cleaned up and checked it out...my vajayjay is SUPER swollen. Holy moly! THAT was something I wasn't expecting until AFTER delivery. Weird.

	Comment from mrsamanda » Posted Jun. 16, 2014 1:04pm My doctor originally said he wouldn't start checking me until week 36, but he's checked me twice so far, first because I needed an pap, and the 2nd just to check. So, maybe she'll take a peak. Any time now we could blow. Lol

We plan to chat about instructions when labor starts, order a breast pump (covered by insurance) and hubby wants to hear her info on her "big baby" theory - talk about what her plan is if an induction is the route to go. I hope I start labor on my own, but I know my doc doesn't think that will happen. I'm looking forward to having my hubby there to be more direct with her and get some specifics answered. And obviously I want to share with her my experience with Braxton Hicks and the swelling and the dropping...maybe she'll check me at this appointment instead of waiting another two weeks. Thankfully, ladies, we don't have much longer. I keep telling myself that. And Jenna - let's see more pics of that gorgeous baby boy! :)
	Comment from jennavee » Posted Jun. 16, 2014 10:03am I had swelling before birth too. Like crazy swelling. It was difficult to have sex (the midwife kept saying to have lots of sex to bring on labor...ha!). Its a good sign though! It means the baby is likely getting lower down in your pelvis. The last few weeks are definitely the hardest! I can't wait to "meet" your sweet baby! Hang in there mama!
	Comment from mrsamanda » Posted Jun. 16, 2014 8:52am I'm feeling your pains. A lot of times when she moves it is painful. Like I'm getting kicked or punched in the cervix, and it's a sharp pain. Under my ribs, it's sharp too. Not much longer, momma! We got this... right?!
	Comment from Mrs_HT » Posted Jun. 16, 2014 6:25am I'm right there with you being uncomfortable. When do you go back to the doctor. I'm not sure what is going on with your "purse". It could be that baby is moving down and pressing on it but man that sucks. Hope you feel better.
