Doc appointment and update...

Well, the doc says I've made zero progress. Still 0 dilation and 0% effaced. Apparently my cervix is like Fort Knox. Awesome. :/
We've scheduled a C-section for Tuesday at Noon. I'll be 40 weeks at that point and Toren will be measuring almost 9.5lbs at that point. Because I've been so good with my blood sugar readings and managing the Gestational Diabetes (and because I'm closed up nice and tight), we can't do an induction. Plus with an induction and the GD AND baby's size, I will NOT be able to have a vacuum extraction in the event he gets stuck (and then we run risks with THAT whole scenario).
Safest thing for me and Toren is to go in after him. So it looks like Tuesday the 22nd is my baby's birthday - unless (like my mom is guessing) he decides to make an appearance on his own now that we have a plan in place.
