Saw OB today and got my results 6.5 mmol/L and the threshold is 7.8 mmol/L. I am so thankful. It wouldn't have been the end of the world had I not passed, but this makes things a little bit easier. Fundus is measuring on track. Results from U/S show one of the kidneys slightly dilated. Baby will need an U/S on its kidneys once it is born. Still hoping that there is time for it to resolve in utero. Down Syndrome is always in the back of my head even thought the correlation between the soft marker and DS is very tenuous at best.
Officially at the point in this pregnancy where appointments are every 2 weeks. I can't believe how fast it is going. My 4 yo, who is getting really good at his potty and wiping himself, had a poosplosion. He was not able to wipe it all himself and it was everywhere in the bathroom. Him, the potty seat, the toilet seat. Why does this stuff happen when my DH is at work? Gag.
Got some second hand furniture to outfit the baby room. A single bed and tall boy. It may seem funny to have a single bed in there, but it is a captain's bed with drawers and I will set it up like a couch. It will be handy on those nights when baby will just not settle or is ill. Plus, once it is ready to be out of the crib, we have a bed ready and waiting.
