Anatomy Scan and 20 Week Appointment Update!

Sorry it took a while to get this posted! Everything went well yesterday! Baby was very stubborn and didn't let the tech get a good look at the four chambers of the heart or a good profile view, so I have to go back at 24 weeks for a follow-up. But she said everything that she could see looked fine. So hopefully at my next scan they will be able to get all the information they need and we can make sure baby is perfectly healthy!
We found out the gender during the scan and ended up telling our families right away. But I plan on posting a gender reveal on Facebook. I'm going out to get my supplies (and to finish last minute things for Christmas and baking) today. And once I get the picture I will upload it here! All I will say that my daughter will get to open a "gift" early and inside will be what reveals whether she is getting a baby brother or a baby sister! :) I'm excited!
I mentioned the pain I've been feeling (as well as the increased anxiety) to my midwife. She said the pain is common and actually recommended I use a maternity support band because the pain will only get worse and she said if it gets to a certain point, it may require physical therapy! :( And to make all things worse, I finally caught the cold that I had managed to avoid after my husband and daughter got sick, so I am miserable! My stomach is upset and I am not hungry, probably because I can't taste anything. All I seem to want is to drink broth, but the sodium is ridiculous! Hopefully this doesn't last very long.
Can't wait to upload some ultrasound pictures after I get back from the store later! :)
