24 week Appointment

I had my 24 week appointment on Monday following a repeat scan since Baby Girl didn't let them see her heart, palate or profile view during my original scan!

Everything went well with the scan and she was in the perfect position to get all the pictures they needed. She looks perfectly healthy and weighs a little over a pound! I cant remember if she said 1lb 4oz or 1lb 14oz... It was either one or the other, but I can't quite remember since I was worried about Allison during the scan since I didn't have anyone there to help me with her! I got 2 3d pictures of her face and she looks a lot like her daddy already!

My appointment was with a doctor this time since they only had one midwife there for appointments and she was booked! The OB was surprisingly very laid back. I didn't have to pee and he didn't seem worried about not checking the protein in my urine (or whatever reason I have to pee in a cup). He didn't use the doppler, I get it, I just had my scan and baby was healthy and fine. But he also didn't measure my stomach, I can't remember when they started measuring my stomach during my first pregnancy, but I thought for sure they'd start that at this appointment... He was very nice though. Basically asked if I had any questions, I brought up the pelvic pain again and he basically said there's nothing much I can do about it, but strongly suggested physical therapy. My midwife suggested it at my 20 week appointment, but didn't push it. When I told him I would wait another 4 weeks and see if it continues to get worse, he kept asking if I was sure I wanted to wait. I finally agreed to it and it looks like my insurance should cover it, so it's worth a shot! I'm waiting for a call back from the physical therapy office to schedule an appointment. We'll see how that goes!

Right before my 28 week appointment, I have to get the glucose test done. Bleh. I passed during my first pregnancy, and that drink wasn't AS BAD as I thought it'd be. But it's definitely not something I'm looking forward to! Lol.

I'm attaching a picture of my sweet baby girl from my ultrasound. I also need to update my bump pictures, but I'm too lazy to upload those ones too, so I'll get that tomorrow, lol.

Thank you! The tech said that was one of the best 3d pictures she had gotten that early! Although she may say that to everyone, lol.
