Finally the 12W ultrasound. Super happy!!!

So after 12 stressful weeks, we went today to the appointment with our OB. He made an ultrasound and there he was!!! Little baby swimming and moving his hands...couldn't be happier. So we finally know baby is ok and super healthy. We are leaving first trimester behind. The baby's heartbeat was of 165. Obviously we do not know if it's a boy or a girl but something tells me it is a boy. I guess we will have to wait at least 1 month so we can finally know for sure.
With this good news we are now ready to tell everyone about baby #2. It was really hard to keep it a seacret. Specially since my belly is starting to grow. With baby #1 I didn't look pregnant until I reached 18 or 20 weeks. Now i'm only 12W and pants don't fit no more. I guess I will be moving to maternity clothes this week. I think there is no need to suffer and to be unconfortable.
So now it starts to feel real! With the MC in September we were very insecure about this baby. I didn't want to be too attached in case something bad happened again. But now I am really really really happy! Looking forward for the next 6 months. Upps...it doesn't feel that far away. Can hardly wait.

 | Comment from Eluria88 » Posted Feb. 25, 2014 2:19pm I had a miscarriage in september as well, luckily I have a doctor that has let me have 6 ultrasounds so far. I can't believe you had to wait 12! I would be going insane. I'm 13 weeks now and we still haven't told anyone. Glad everything looks good! |
