6w 5d - First "Official" Appointment!

Today will be my first "official" appointment. i was seen by my doctor 2 weeks ago with an appointment i scheduled ahead of time in case we didn't get a bfp within the 6 month time frame we were given to try due to my age. we made it just in time though!
I am hoping the office staff, etc. will be a bit more helpful and friendly this time around. My doctor is supposed to be really good at high risk pregnancies, etc. he has been on 2 episodes of "a baby story" and was a part of a documentary. he is head of l&d at a local hospital among other impressive credentials. i also like he volunteers his time and services to women who can't afford healthcare. however, i will not let that influence me and if i feel i am not going to get the attention and care i feel i should, i have no problem finding another doctor.
anyway, i am hoping that my little bean will be visible and that everything is on track. i am enjoying how excited DH is to meet me at the doctor for today's appointment as well. =)
