doctor shopping.

Officially shopping for a doctor. I refuse to go back to my clinic. Doctor told me everything looked good and then when I was leaving called me back into the office to inform me an abnormaility was found on the ultrasound....the same paperwork he read infront of me and said everything looked good. Doctor will not look further into the abnormality because it should go away by birth. I find the fact I had to go back because the doctor forgot to tell me highly unprofessional. I have horrible dizzy spells but I am so annoyed by an hour wait my blood pressure looks normal but I know it has raised because I am so frustrated. Now I knoe dizzy spells can be normal but they can aslo be signs of something wrong. I get told I am fine based off fiest trimester blood work and I didnt develope these symptoms until a few weeks after that blood work. The wait time and the forgetting to tell me test results cooks this clinic for me. I should feel comfortable with my doctor and have my concerns dealt with in a manner that helps me. Not talk down to me like im stupid and lecture me for not taking prenatal vitamins before I got pregnant. Yes I got a lecture on not taking a multivitamin daily and my gp has no issue with me not taking multivitamins when not pregnant. Somidwife or new ob but I am not going back to that clinic. If the last doctor I saw was in the delivery room I might have a panic attack.

Bad doctors are the worst, especially when you're pregnant and are just concerned about whats going on with your body and your baby and want to know what's going on! Best of luck!

My last visit I had an ultrasound to check my ovaries for a cyst, because I was having extreme pain on my left side. While they were looking at they also rechecked my placentas placement again. I was told I had placenta previa 2 weeks before. Anyways he walked in and said, everything's good, ovaries good, placenta good! and then tried to sign off and walk out of the room. I had to stop him and ask "well, where was the placenta located?" he went. "umm I don't know, let me go get your file." Like seriously? finally he was able to tell me a little more info but still not much. Then he goes..."I have no clue why the scheduled you for another ultrasound..." I was like "because I am having really bad pain on my left side"......"Oh- well I'll see you in a month!" He had no care in the world that I was having pain. :/ I'd say if you can look for another doctor, do it! Sadly, I can't because they've already charged

I used this site to check out opinions on my obgyn before booking an appt. My friends had suggested him, but just becuz they like him doesnt mean the rest of Canada does...turns out, the rest of Canada does!! Hope it helps!! Good luck!! =))
