Today i would of been 38 weeks pregnant but my princess has arrived! <3

Today I would of been 38 weeks pregnant. I have suffered with hypermobility all my life and during my pregnancy it got a lot worse. My hips dislocated everyday and every night, it was agony. On the 24th April 2014 I went to see my consultant and explained what had been happening. On that day she decided it was time to bring my girly into the world. She booked my elective c section for the 28th April 2014. That was the longest weekend ever! Knowing that it was so soon and she was going to be born 3 weeks and 2 days early was terrifying, I think every bad thought went through my head. Monday came and I was so nervous and couldn't believe the day had finally arrived. That day went so quickly, I rang the hospital at 7am and was told to go in for 8 am. I arrived at the hospital and got put straight into a room and given a gown. At 9 am a midwife came and took me to theatre. Not long after, my beautiful girl was born.
Isabella Mae was born on the 28th April 2014 at 9:40am. She was born at 36 weeks and 5 days by elective c section and still weighed 6lb 14oz. I love my little girl so much. I have already fully recovered from my c section. We were discharged from hospital when she was 2 days old and I was driving when she was 5 days old. She is now 9 days old and doing great. I would quite happily do it all again if I had to :) <3

As a child it never bothered me much but at 16 or so the hip problems started then a few years later, my shoulders. So happy for you though, can't wait to hold my little bundle of joy! =)) |
