Nipple leakage :)
By BabyClaire11 » Posted May. 30, 2014 1:02pm - 225 views - 2 comments

YAYY!! My boobs have officially started leaking!!!!!!
I may be a tad too excited about this, BUT i've been waiting for it to happen, and i'm planning on exclusively breastfeeding, so this is just a great sign that my boobs are producing already <333
About 4 days ago they started leaking just a little bit of clear fluid when i squeezed my nipples. And as of yesterday it turned into a milky yellowish color, the color of colostrum! Whoop whoop!!!

Baby girl is doing great, she gets the hiccups a few times a day and it makes me giggle because 1. it feels weird. 2. she gets irritated when they go past 3-4 minutes and starts kicking REALLY hard after each one :) She's going to be a fiesty little thing!!

Saturday my 'sister' Malayna is coming over to help set up the nursery!!
His mom is buying us the pack n play we wanted- hopefully we will have it next week and we can get that all set up too!
The only big ticket item we need now is the stroller! That's pretty much it!! Now i just need some new born clothes, mits, recieving blankets, burp rags, a nursing pillow, some hats, little toys, etc...

The hubby and i are going to look into our chances of getting a mortgage, tomorrow. We both know the chances are very slim, but hey, at least we'll know! And if we can't get a mortgage, then we're going to find a new place to rent because paying 850 a month is killing us, and if i want to stay home with Claire for a while, and only work a part time job then that's what needs to be done. Anything for my baby girl <3

I hear ya about the house situation! We're paying $1200 a month to rent an apartment!! Found a house to rent that's $750 everything included so we are trying so hard to get in there because I don't know how long I'm going to stay home after the baby's born. It'll be at least a couple months.
