Almost there!

In 9 days and few hours, baby is gonna be here (if he waits that long). It has been such an incredible journey so far. So much upheaval and changes and adjustments have happened in the course of this pregnancy and I am just so glad that everything worked out well eventually.
Baby is happy and healthy and still kicking up as much of a storm as he can, given the cramped quarters he is presently occupying. I am so much smaller than I thought I would be, being the second pregnancy and all but hey! I love it. I've gained less weight too and my body has remained almost the same except for a fuller face and bum, lol. (Pic was taken yesterday)
The only thing I don't enjoy is the crazy aches and pains that I developed at 34 weeks. My pubic bone, pelvis and hips hurt so much practically all the time , I could cry. Nights are the worst. Turning over and getting up to pee is like.... Arrrrggggh! I just tell myself "almost there girl, hang on".
Alexander is so wonderful at being a big brother so far. He keeps patting my tummy and kissing it. He pronounces it 'beeibee', and it is just so cute. Then he starts patting my breasts and calling that baby too,
like he knows that's baby's food? Lmao. I just hope it isn't too much of a shock when the actuality of the baby dawns on him. Not so worried though. He is always wanting to hold and kiss every baby he sees so there's hope, eh?
The only thing I'm freaking out about now is the C-section. It kinda terrifies me cuz despise how much I read about it and how many videos I've watched, it is still venturing into the unknown. However like Will Smith said, "the best things in life usually lies on the other side of fear" so hey, bring it in by the 13th!
P.s. Isn't it so great that mothers day is just a day after that? Double celebration, no?

I think labor may be starting slowly. Noticed a little bit of bloody discharge (sorry tmi) about an hour ago. Now my terror just stepped up a notch, I'm not ready! Please wait till scheduled date baby, pleeeeeaaasse. Lol |

I had a c-seaction with my last I recommend high waisted underwear and a belly binder I asked for one at the hospital it was just a cheap simple binder and it worked wonders.....i wish you a speedy recovery |
