Today was a good day. Mondays are not my favorite. However, after I managed to roll out of bed, and we'd already made it through a tantrum from DS, who freaked out about wanting to take the cereal bag out of the cereal box (of all things), things progressed quite nicely. Here is my day (not necessarily in order):
I made a fresh pot of coffee at work. Chatted with my coworkers. Went jogging in the February sunshine. Somehow managed to arrange a department meeting. Did maintenance on an instrument I'm responsible for. Got lots of data analysis accomplished. Set up new samples to run. And I got lots of reports to my boss by the end of the day. DS surprised me with a tantrum because he actually wanted to stay at daycare. Something he was able to express in so many words. Pretty impressive. I made myself a smoothie with a bunch of baby greens. Managed to have a second BM. (I know, TMI, but this prenatal vitamin, hormonal constipation kind of sucks, so BMs are appreciated.) Fed my boys. Made pesto pasta for lunch tomorrow. Took a shower. Gave DS a bath. (He asked for one. Weird.) Took pics of myself in the work bathroom. LOL! And DS in his bath. He's so big! Spent lots of time on CTP. Okay, perfect.
Too bad it's almost midnight now. That's what happens when I'm having fun. Time flies!!!
