Have I "popped" yet?

I feel like my belly having a harder time fitting into certain things, like my soccer jacket. I tried to put it on the other day. It zipped up just fine, but I was kinda uncomfortable with the constriction. I took it off and opted for a normally oversized ugly pink fleece zip up instead. I wore some non-maternity corduroy pants yesterday. Pretty sure I won't be wearing those again for awhile. They don't have any/much elastic in the waist. And while I was able to wear them without a belt below the belly, I could feel how they might just feel too restrictive next try. I'm really aiming for comfort these days. If something feels too tight against my waist, or keeps riding up on my belly, and has to be tugged or pulled to stay in position, I don't think I can tolerate it any longer. Elastic and flowy fabrics are my friends now. I'm over halfway through, but my tummy is feeling and looking more like 2/3 through my last pregnancy. I know I'm still pretty small, which is kind of a relief. I don't want to be over the whole growing thing this early, but it seems to me now, that I won't get away with people being like, "Oh, you're already THAT far along with that tiny belly," anymore. People asked me this week how far along, and upon hearing 21, most nodded as though it made sense. I don't know where I put one of my maternity tops, and it's starting to worry me. I hate misplacing things. I'm currently missing one of Cameron's blue socks. This is a pretty big deal, because blue is his favorite color right now. Ugh! Where could that sock be? I couldn't find it last week. As the days move on, I forget to look or don't have any clue where to look, and the hope of every matching it up with it's friend grows weaker and weaker. Does anyone else agonize over missing single socks? I really hate missing socks. Baby socks are the worst, because they're so small and get stuck to other clothes or sheets or shoved in underneath furniture very easily. One sock disappeared for months, only to be discovered under a Pack N Play sheet later. Sometimes I find adult socks in my exercise pants or husband's pull over tops. Occasionally socks get stuck at the foot of the bed. Sometimes they just vanish into thin air, like the time Cameron came home wearing shoes with only one sock. That missing sock (a different blue one with tan heel and toe), sadly, has never been seen since. Sigh. Back to the title of the JE. See my bump gallery to weigh in on this important question. :P

If you've popped then I must have exploded! Apparently the women in my family show early so I'm trying not to freak out about how big my belly is already at 16 weeks. This is the only time I can wear form fitting clothing and not feel self-conscious so I'm just embracing the bump at this point!

Hahaha! I found a sock at the foot of my bed this morning. Unfortunately it was one of mine. :( I've heard of button expanders but never seen or used any. Yes, in a perfect world no one would judge how big or small pregnant bellies are, but we are far from perfect. Even I find myself judging.

Ahhh...the joys of motherhood. You look awesome! Do you know about button expanders? I'm not sure if that's what they are called, but I saw a photo. They apparently let you wear button-up type of pants with them half-way unbuttoned.
I started wearing elastic waistebands 2 months ago! Lol.
Missing socks don't bother me as much as they used to, but missing earrings...that really bothers me.

Does it bother you when people comment that "small" for 21 weeks? I get annoyed when people, mostly my mother, comment on how big my belly is already. Can't a girl just pregnant without everyone's commentary? :-)

Oh yeah, you have definitely popped, lol. You look very good with it and that is what counts! I haven't been afflicted with pregnancy brain yet, thank God cuz it would be a disaster cuz I am not the most coordinated person and could be naturally forgetful, lol. Hate it when a sock gets missing but so far, my husband is the perpetual sock loser, haha
