Painful little contractions at work this afternoon. Too close together. Not long enough or hard enough to mean anything yet. Peed and ate something, and they pretty much stopped after about an hour. Hoping they mean she wants to come sooner than later, but not too convinced. Tried to see if I could feel my cervix, like when TTC. Oh, my goodness it is way back there. Could not for the life of me reach it. Tons of creamy white CM, too. So, she's not coming overnight, for sure. Took a nice walk before sunset, but had to cut it shorter than I wanted due to feet/body achiness. Cam is being all sorts of defiant. Maybe he senses his reign as only child is coming to an end. Gotta take him to the dentist for a check up in the morning before school/work. Not really looking forward to that. I'm supposed to have a check up at the dentist and eye doctor. I put them both off because I don't want to schedule anything before Emma comes. It's ridiculous though, because she's not coming fast and furious. I just don't think my body works like that. DH and boss are stressing the hell out. Both worry constantly about me having a baby anytime. Chill out. I'm the one who's gotta push out a child. And you don't see me having productivity issues. Got two trainees at work I'm still trying to break in. Kinda want to be done with work, but feel bad about leaving it all behind. Okay, need sleep. I just dread lying there uncomfortably. I miss sleeping through the night blissfully unaware.

I do love being pregnant, but the last couple weeks are soo rough. Especially with a toddler! I don't know how you're still working/functioning at this point! Stay strong I hope she decides to come out soon!

Thanks for the kind words/thoughts. Nothing happening here. Can't say I'm surprised.

That was supposed to say "Hi. Hang in there! You're almost at the finish line!"

I hope I can work that long because I'd rather have the time after they are born than sitting at home waiting for the action to happen. But I am 99% sure I'm going to have a scheduled c-section anyway. Hopefully, your stubborn girl is only like this about making her appearance to the world!

You're soooo close!!! Come on baby girl. Time to meet the world! You're tough. I started my maternity leave with Aria once I hit 39 weeks. I was over being pregnant and going to work every day.

Funny, I did that for RedBetty a little while ago. I don't want to disappoint. Lol! But really, early contractions are not all that interesting. Don't worry about not knowing what they feel like. Active labor is all that really matters for getting the baby out. Since I was induced with Cam, I feel at a disadvantage not knowing what naturally happens in early labor. It's almost like this is my first time. Sigh.
