7 Week Update and Ultrasound
By mogchi » Posted Mar. 20, 2015 9:01pm - 402 views - 2 comments

I am 7 weeks 2 days today, and had my OB appt yesterday. Everything went well! Thank goodness! We got to see the baby's heart beat, and confirm that baby is growing at the normal rate as expected. My hCG numbers went from 1500 to 3570 in less than 48 hours when I just was 5 weeks, but I just got those specific results. My progesterone at 5 weeks was 14.6 he said that's a normal number. I didn't really research my numbers but trust that my doctor knows what he is talking about. I am still doing my progesterone cream he said that's fine. It sure was nice getting nothing but good news! I was pretty nervous...when he first started looking I didn't see a yolk and I got scared. But then, there it was....and I saw the little heart beat....and my heart felt full and happy.

Symptoms this week:

backache
tender breast
full breasts (my bras are too tight, I need to buy a new one)
super frequent urination
bloated
slight random nausea
increased appetite
waking at night to pee
acne
diarrhea when eating out

I gained 2 lbs in 2 weeks, I am 110 now.

I was just gonna buy a sports bra from target cus all mine are super tight and hurt me now. I think they are around 12-15 bucks so it's not too bad for now, I figured I would need more later too. Thanks! :)

Yay! Great news. Maybe wait until closer to the 2nd trimester to buy nice new bras. I went up 2 cup sizes last time and then another for nursing. And I'm using them again this time. Do you have any stretchy bras you could use now? Or perhaps a cheap in between size might be good until you have a better estimate of how big you'll need. :)
