10 Week Update & Heard The Heartbeat!
By mogchi » Posted Apr. 10, 2015 5:48pm - 504 views - 8 comments
Made it to double digits and I am no longer spotting! I heard the heartbeat today through AngelSounds which is a home doppler thingy and it works very good! My next appointment is next week and I am sure I will officially hear the heartbeat there next week. I do not really have symptoms.....very few
symptoms:
bloating
tender breasts
acne breakouts
constipation 2 days
back ache
emotional
Lots of cravings: spicy, savory, eggs with ketchup, chinese, bean and cheese burritos, and tamales
Baby is now thumb sucking, yawning, and finger prints are forming. Baby is the size of a prune! My hunch is I am having a boy, I have had this hunch since I found out I was pregnant. Mainly because I am not having many symptoms and other than spotting this has been a very easy pregnancy. I am going to announce the baby on Mother's day next month, and we already have our plans on how....I will update on that later. Other than that....not much going on. We are both very scared but also excited.

Comment from ThatNerdyMartinLady » Posted Apr. 13, 2015 9:17am We're getting them a normal mother's day card, and after they read it we're going to say hang on that's not the right one and then hand them a mother's day card for grandmothers with a picture of the ultrasound inside. I can't wait to see their reaction, we're going to record it lol
Comment from Kitten90 » Posted Apr. 11, 2015 10:37am Nice, that's even better than I expected!
Comment from mogchi » Posted Apr. 11, 2015 9:48am Kitten I got my angelsounds on amazon for 27 bucks! Totally worth it!
Comment from Kitten90 » Posted Apr. 11, 2015 8:02am I'm thinking mine's a boy too. Congrats on hearing the heartbeat! I'm thinking about getting a home doppler for this pregnancy. I heard they're fairly cheap, about $50. My doctor actually suggested it with my last pregnancy since I had a lot of anxiety after recent miscarriages.
Comment from rcorinne » Posted Apr. 10, 2015 10:38pm Yay, 10 weeks! That's a great milestone. It's especially awesome that you can already hear the heartbeat at home. What a relief that must be. :D
Comment from mogchi » Posted Apr. 10, 2015 8:28pm Did you figure out how you are making the big announcement? I spent hours looking up stuff until I finally found one that was fitting! :)
Comment from ThatNerdyMartinLady » Posted Apr. 10, 2015 7:46pm We're announcing on mother's day too! I can't think of a present that will excite our moms more lol. I think mine will be a boy too, but only because all my friends have girls and I have no clue what to do with a boy! |
