18 Week Update & Gender Reveal!

It's been a little while! We have been super busy building a deck while the weather is still nice out. This pregnancy is flying by! I can't believe I am already almost half way done, I feel like I was just ttc and peeing on sticks!
symptoms:
heartburn
itchy boobs/tummy
abdominal pains
vaginal sharp pains
redness in face
dry skin
tailbone hurts
feet hurt when standing long
Still craving meats, and any protein. No aversions. Lately been loving bbq! Now that the baby can hear we have been playing classical music for the baby with headphones. We love classical music and we hope the baby does too! I have gained a total of 11 lbs since finding out I was pregnant. This whole pregnancy has gone pretty good so far, no real complaints. I can feel the baby moving around now too! I felt the first movement around 5/23 and now I feel them almost every night.
Ok so I know everyone wants to know....we are having A BOY! Just as I thought! We decided we are naming him Darren Frederick. Darren is a good friend of ours who was a biologist and passed away in an avalanche, he was an amazing man. Darren means "little great one". Frederick is the name of my husband's grandfather who was his male role model growing up. We both wanted a girl, but are super excited for our boy! I finally got to buy something yesterday! Got a cute little outfit with a train on it, my husband was obsessed with trains when he was little. I think that's it! My Cameron loves his mama so much. It's very sweet, especially because he's turning into such a little man with a big imagination and tons of energy. I hear girls talk faster and learn potty training sooner. It's gonna be a new adventure this time around. :) |
