24 Weeks today!

24 weeks along and only 16 left (or whenever baby decides to arrive). We have gotten a lot done so far. We have picked out the colors for the Nursery: Funhouse pink and pencil sketch gray by Behr. We (well mostly me) picked out a theme for the nursery-it will be a princess, shabby chic. We have also gotten a cute, small, white chandelier to match the princess theme :) I'm so excited to see all the elements together, I have a vision and can't want to see the reality. I have made a "L" with various shades and sizes of pink buttons to be used for her name on the wall. I also have started on a shag, rag, rug project-that will take me a while...
Baby is moving a lot! I'm pretty sure I felt her hiccups while we were sitting in church last week. It was a strange feeling but made me smile from ear to ear.
We've finally chosen a daycare after many tours, long discussions and pros/cons lists. We've decided that baby will go to New Horizon in Bloomington off of Minnesota Drive so she will be close to Nathan's work and they have great hours. We really liked that the infants were seperated based on abilities and age. So the first infant room is for 6 weeks to 12 months but is split in half, one side with walkers/crawlers and the other side for younger, less mobile infants. The second infant room is the transition room for 12 months to 16 months, then they go to the toddler room.
We also chose a doula! We're really excited to work with her for prenatal visits as well as during the labor, delivery and during post partum. It really decreases my nerves about labor and delivery to have someone experienced to coach us through it.
