Doctor appointment was yesterday and we had an ultrasound. Unfortunately, the umbilical cord was in front of her face and our horrible ultrasound tech didn't even attempt to get a good image of her. She just tried sticking the wand to it a couple of times and said "looks like it's not going to move". I KNOW other places have the mom's get up and move around or shake your belly, she just rushes through it. I think our next kid I will definitely be using a different doctor.

Good news though, they told us she looks perfect anatomically and that she is in the vertex position! I was shocked, what I thought was her head this whole time has been her butt! She's so much longer than I was expecting!

Hope she'll stay in the right position until she gets here, even though she's using mommy's bladder as a pillow.

So sorry the tech didn't want to work a little harder for a better image. Most times it seems babies will move around once stimulated. Of course, every time we've tried with ours, they don't want to work with us but the tech tries. I hope she stays in that position and isn't one of those last minute flippers!

I hear there's another tech there that's great, but we never got to see her! I think she's just an urban legend.

Glad all went well. I think it just depends on what tech you have. At my doctors office some of the ultrasound techs are wonderful and some of them suck!
